Er weist eine Nutzfl\u00e4che von 14&#8217;000 Quadratmetern auf und bietet Platz f\u00fcr die technisch orientierten Studieng\u00e4nge. Das von Tageslicht durchflutete Atrium, dessen Dachsohle 22 m und dessen Oberkante 29 m \u00fcber dem Boden liegt, dient als wettergesch\u00fctzter Campus mit hoher Aufenthaltsqualit\u00e4t in der Mitte des Geb\u00e4udes. Von dort erschliesst eine st\u00fctzenfreie Wendeltreppe alle sechs Ebenen. <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">Das 1&#8217;400 Quadratmeter grosse Freiformdach hat Fassadenbauer Josef Gartner aus 549 drei- und viereckigen Elementen konstruiert, die mit einer komplexen Schraubl\u00f6sung verbunden sind.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"JUSTIFY\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">Geschraubte Stab- und Knotenkonstruktion<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">Urspr\u00fcnglich wurde die Dreiecks-Gitterschale des Dachs als Schweisskonstruktion ausgeschrieben. Gartner konnte den Bauherrn aber von einer geschraubten Stab- und Knotenkonstruktion \u00fcberzeugen, die Schweissverzug und massliche Unw\u00e4gbarkeiten vermeidet. Zudem konnte die Montage bei gleicher Geometrie durch eine Schraubkonstruktion beschleunigt werden.<\/span> <span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\">24 Elemente \u00f6ffnen sich zum Rauch- und W\u00e4rmeabzug tulpenf\u00f6rmig.
