Extreme Hochwasser der Sihl werden ab 2026 durch einen Entlastungsstollen direkt in den Z\u00fcrichsee geleitet. Mit dem unterirdischen Bauwerk zwischen Langnau am Albis und Thalwil lassen sich schwere \u00dcberschwemmungen des unteren Sihltals und der Stadt Z\u00fcrich verhindern.<\/p>\n

Tunnelbohrmaschine kommt im Fr\u00fchling 2024<\/h3>\n

Seit April 2022 laufen die Arbeiten am Einlaufbauwerk des Stollens an der Sihl und am Auslaufbauwerk am Z\u00fcrichsee. Am 4. September 2023 hat ein grosser Abbauhammer begonnen, die eigentliche Stollenr\u00f6hre auszubrechen. Der Vortrieb erfolgt vorerst auf der Sihltaler Seite und dient dem Ausbruch einer Startr\u00f6hre von rund 20 Meter L\u00e4nge, in der im Fr\u00fchling 2024 eine Tunnelbohrmaschine ihre Arbeit aufnehmen wird. Mit ihrem Bohrkopf wird sie den Entlastungsstollen dann Meter um Meter durch den Fels des Zimmerbergs in Richtung Z\u00fcrichsee ausbrechen.<\/p>\n

Die Bauzeit des rund zwei Kilometer langen Stollens mit einem Innendurchmesser von rund 6,6 Meter wird voraussichtlich neun Monate betragen. Bis zur Fertigstellung des gesamten Bauwerks dauert es anschliessend nochmals gut eineinhalb Jahre, sodass das untere Sihltal und die Stadt Z\u00fcrich ab 2026 vor extremen Hochwassern der Sihl gesch\u00fctzt sein werden.<\/p>\n

Gutes Kosten-Nutzen-Verh\u00e4ltnis<\/h3>\n

Die Kosten f\u00fcr die Planung und den Bau des Entlastungsstollens und die \u00f6kologischen Ersatzmassnahmen betragen rund 175 Millionen Franken. Diese Investition des Kantons Z\u00fcrich steht in einem sehr g\u00fcnstigen Verh\u00e4ltnis zum verhinderten Schadenswert: Bei einem Extremhochwasser der Sihl k\u00f6nnten alleine in der Stadt Z\u00fcrich Sch\u00e4den von bis zu 6,7 Milliarden Franken entstehen.<\/p>\n
