Die Keynote des Pritzker-Preistr\u00e4gers Francis K\u00e9r\u00e9 sowie der Auftritt von Nihal Saad, Kabinettschefin der United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, machten die Feierstunde zu einem besonderen Ereignis. Neben des Auftritts von Star-Tenor Jonas Kaufmann wurden die Feierlichkeiten von einem besonderen Highlight abgeschlossen: Mit zw\u00f6lf vertikalen T\u00e4nzern verwandelte das US-amerikanische Tanzprojekt Bandaloop in seiner Premiere das BMW Hochhaus in eine B\u00fchne. So schuf das Ensemble mit seiner eindrucksvollen Choreografie ein schwereloses Gesamtkunstwerk im Zusammenspiel aus Architektur und Tanz. Zur Musik von Ben Juodvalkis boten die Fassadent\u00e4nzer mit \u201eMomentum Curve\u201c eine exklusive Performance als Hommage an die einzigartige Architektur dar.<\/p>\n

H\u00e4ngekonstruktion als innovativer Ingenieurbau<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Das BMW Hochhaus z\u00e4hlt mit seiner H\u00e4ngekonstruktion zu den innovativsten Ingenieursbauten der Nachkriegszeit. Dabei wurden die oberen Etagen zuerst am Boden gefertigt, dann hydraulisch am massiven \u201eHochhausschaft\u201c aus Stahlbeton nach oben bewegt und in mehreren Segmenten vervollst\u00e4ndigt. Im August 1972 wurde die Konzernzentrale der BMW Group am Petuelring fertiggestellt. Das vom \u00f6sterreichischen Architekten Professor Karl Schwanzer konzipierte Verwaltungsgeb\u00e4ude ist seitdem zu einer Ikone mit globaler Strahlkraft f\u00fcr M\u00fcnchen und das Unternehmen geworden. Die innovative Kraft von Schwanzers Entwurf steht damals wie heute f\u00fcr das Unternehmen BMW und macht die Firmenzentrale zum Leuchtturm einer nachhaltigen Mobilit\u00e4t von Morgen. Es ist nicht nur ein Symbol f\u00fcr wirtschaftlichen Erfolg, sondern steht gleichsam f\u00fcr internationalen Austausch, Frieden und Interkulturalit\u00e4t. Die von Schwanzer umgesetzte \u201egebaute Kommunikation\u201c weist heute den Weg in eine neue \u00c4ra der Elektrifizierung, Digitalisierung und Zirkularit\u00e4t.<\/p>\n
